300 HK residents stranded in Pakistan will be back to HK tomorrow afternoon


It is reported in the local news that the first chartered flight arranged by the HKSAR government will be leaving Islamabad tomorrow morning, bringing 300 HK residents stranded in Pakistan back to HK. They are expected to arrive HK on the same day in the afternoon. Around 5,000 HK residents in Pakistan and India contacted the Immigration Department for assistance. More chartered flights will be scheduled in stages to repatriate them in the future.


HK residents in need of assistance while outside Hong Kong can call the 24-hour hotline operated by the Assistance to Hong Kong Residents Unit of the Immigration Department. The hotline number is: (852) 1868.
