1. Government extends third dose COVID-19 vaccination arrangements

​The Government announced that members of the public who have received two doses of the Sinovac vaccine with the second dose received six months ago, irrespective of whether they belong to the certain groups, can make reservations for and receive a third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine starting from November 23.

2. Advisory Panel on COVID-19 Vaccines convenes meeting to conduct continuous benefit-risk analysis of authorised COVID-19 vaccines

​The Advisory Panel on COVID-19 Vaccines (Advisory Panel) convened a meeting to conduct continuous benefit-risk analysis of authorised COVID-19 vaccines. The meeting also reviewed the latest data of the two authorised vaccines immunised in different age groups and made recommendations.

3. DH's Temporary Specimen Collection Centre Two at Hong Kong International Airport to commence operation on November 18

​​The Department of Health (DH) announced that Temporary Specimen Collection Centre Two (TSCC-2) set up by the DH at the T1 Satellite Concourse of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) commenced operation on November 18. Together with the Temporary Specimen Collection Centre One (TSCC-1) set up at the T1 Midfield Concourse, travellers arriving from places of different risk levels can be effectively segregated.

4. FEHD reminds cold store practitioners to comply with latest compulsory testing requirements on COVID-19

​Government has included designated cold store practitioners in the compulsory testing notice and the relevant persons have to undergo polymerase chain reaction-based nucleic acid test for COVID-19 regularly from November 17.

5. COVID-19 compulsory testing arrangement for frontline staff of terminals and ship services sector

​Following the announcement of strengthening the testing arrangement of high-risk and high-exposure groups by the Government earlier, a compulsory testing notice has been issued to specific frontline staff of the terminals and ship services sector to require them to undergo COVID-19 nucleic acid tests on a periodic basis pursuant to the Prevention and Control of Disease (Compulsory Testing for Certain Persons) Regulation (Cap. 599J).
